About
Capital Futbol Club is a Salem-based youth soccer organization whose history dates to 1993, when four local clubs merged to form Salem United Soccer Club. The organization later combined programs with the Cascade Surge and became Cascade FC before eventually adopting the Capital FC identity. In 2013, the club became one of Oregon's early Portland Timbers Alliance partners, strengthening its connections to the Timbers and Thorns development system. That formal partnership ended in 2022, when the organization reestablished itself independently as Capital Futbol Club. Over more than three decades, CFC has developed into one of Salem's primary soccer organizations, providing recreational, academy and elite competitive opportunities.
