San Jose Earthquakes Academy is the professional youth-development arm of the San Jose Earthquakes and represents the most direct MLS pathway for elite players in Northern California. The academy identifies players throughout the Bay Area and Northern California and prepares them for professional soccer within the Earthquakes organization. The academy is part of a professional club structure rather than simply an independent travel organization. Players capable of progressing through the pathway can potentially advance toward professional contracts and the Earthquakes' senior soccer structure. MLS NEXT lists San Jose Earthquakes among its California member clubs.
