About
San Diego FC Academy is the professional youth-development system of MLS club San Diego FC and is built around the internationally recognized Right to Dream development philosophy. Unlike a traditional American youth club that simply operates competitive teams, SDFC's academy was created as an integrated soccer, education and personal-development environment connected directly to the professional organization. The San Diego operation became the fourth academy within the broader Right to Dream network and introduced a residential academy component designed to give selected players access to intensive development regardless of where they live within the region.
