About
LA Galaxy Academy is the elite player-development system of Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy and represents one of the most direct professional soccer pathways available to young players in Southern California. Based in Carson, the academy operates within the Galaxy's larger professional structure and is designed to identify, develop, and prepare elite prospects for professional soccer. Academy players train in an environment connected to the first team and are exposed to the standards, facilities, coaching, and expectations associated with an MLS organization. The program has produced professional players, NCAA Division I recruits, and youth internationals representing both the United States and other national teams. In 2026 alone, Galaxy academy players received U.S. and Mexican youth national-team call-ups.
