BACK TO FRANCE CLUBS

Hi, I’m Carlos! A coach, sports enthusiast, and the founder of FCScout.com.

I fell in love with the game at a very young age like many of you. I’ve been following and playing soccer for many years.

Throughout my career, I always enjoyed helping soccer players chase their dreams, which is why I started this website. I wanted to reach a larger audience outside of my local area and fcscout.com was born.

This website is a platform I will be using to update club pages on any tryouts, stadiums, players, tech, and more from clubs around the world. I also create free recruitment profiles for players looking to have that extra competitive edge when reaching out to clubs.

That’s it. That’s my pitch for you to stick around (or browse the site as you please).

This is already too much text for a “see more” drop-down button thing. If you want to reach out to me, head on over to my contact page 🙂

Stade Rennais FC Youth Development System

Stade Rennais FC Academy Structure

The renown of the Rennes training center is well established. The club’s trademark is recognized across Europe. With a view to always wanting to strengthen its competitiveness and its attractiveness, the club initiated a strategic shift by creating, in February 2015, the Red and Black Academy. This new organization brings together under the same entity, the Football School, the Training Center and the Amateur Section.

Renamed “AcadĂ©mie Rouge et Noir”, the entity headed by Denis Arnaud is now a full-fledged entity within the club with the objective of bringing young people to their highest level. With the Academy, Stade Rennais FC is once again showing its desire to remain one of the most successful training centers in France.

Beyond the internal reorganization, the AcadĂ©mie Rouge et Noir’s second objective is to create a genuine local network with amateur clubs in the region through “Elite” partnerships. These have been designed with the aim of detecting and integrating the best young Breton players, in the best possible conditions, with the well-being of children in mind above all.

Grouped under the Red and Black Academy, the different teams are classified according to their influence: Local Academy, Regional Academy and National Academy. This new organization has 11 teams (from U9 to CFA2), has nearly 180 young players and 18 educators. Whatever the category or level, each youngster has the same official outfits.

Odorico Private Technical School

Located a stone’s throw from Roazhon Park, the Odorico Private Technical School (ETP) welcomes around thirty boarders and ten half-boarders each season. 27 teachers are involved in the school structure of Stade Rennais FC Three courses of instruction are offered to young players: general, technological and professional. In recent years, nearly 80% of students have obtained a diploma. Within this structure, a director, a school manager, a person in charge of extra-curricular activities, together with a team of animators-educators, ensure the proper functioning of the structure and the daily follow-up of each young person.

TRAINING CENTER – LA PIVERDIÈRE

Located in La PiverdiĂšre, the Henri GuĂ©rin Training Center offers a modern working tool to all professional footballers. In addition to the training grounds (three grass fields and a last generation synthetic field) and two play areas (one in grass and the other in synthetic) the players have a weight room, a stretching room, a balneotherapy and a projection room. Changing rooms, a Club House and offices are also available for technical support.

Stade Rennais FC History

Rennes is one of the founding members of the first division of French football and was established in 1901 under the name Stade Rennais. The club’s original name was Rennes. Rennes is one of the best football clubs in the area and, together with Nantes, is one of the primary competitors in the Derby Breton. Rennes is also one of the top clubs in the region.

The greatest finish that the team has ever had in the league was third place, which they achieved despite the fact that the season was cut short in 2019–20. Rennes has been victorious in the Coupe de France on three separate occasions: in 1965, 1971, and 2019. Following their victory in the Coupe de France in 1971, Rennes changed their name to the one that is still in use today.

The home team, Rennes, wears red shirts with black shorts and socks as their primary colors. They have a long-standing rivalry with another Breton team called Nantes, with whom they compete in the Breton Derby. Rennes is well-known for its youth academy, which was established in the year 2000 and is also known as the Henri GuĂ©rin Training Centre in English. In 2010, the French Football Federation (FFF) acknowledged Rennes’ youth football program as the nation’s best, making it the country’s greatest overall youth academy.

The under-19 team is the foundation of the academy. They have won the Coupe Gambardella three times: in 1973, 2003, and 2008. The academy is responsible for the development of a number of well-known artists, including Ousmane DembĂ©lĂ©, Yacine Brahimi, Eduardo Camavinga, Yoann Gourcuff, Yann M’Vila, Moussa Sow, Abdoulaye DoucourĂ©, Sylvain Wiltord, and Jimmy Briand. Other notable graduates include Yoann Gourcuff, Yoann M’Vila, and Yoann M’V

Stadium

Football matches are played at the Roazhon Park in Rennes, which is located in Brittany, France. The city of Rennes is also known by its Breton name, Roazhon.

On September 15, 1912, the stadium was officially opened to the public. It may be found in the west-central part of Rennes at the address 111 route de Lorient. The stadium was completely reconstructed in 2001 and now has a capacity of 29,778 seats; it serves as the present location of Stade Rennais.

Both the men’s and women’s national football teams of France have played matches here at the stadium. It played host to the semifinals of the Top 14 Rugby Union Tournament on June 19 and 20, 2016, respectively. Additionally, it was chosen to serve as a location for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, during which it played host to a total of six matches (four in the group stage, one in the round of 16, and one in the quarterfinals).
