Ángel Di María Juventus Transfer

Juventus front office and Argentinian international Angel Di Maria have come to an agreement for Di Maria to join the Turin-based club. Di Maria will join Juventus on what has been reported as a one-year deal.

Di Maria will be making this transfer as a free agent, with contracts to be signed later this week. The 34-year-old winger is expected to fly to Italy sometime this week and join Paul Pogba for presentation.

Ángel Fabián Di María (born 14 February 1988) is an Argentine professional footballer, a free agent, who plays for the Argentina national team. Di Mara started his career with Rosario Central, but after joining Benfica in 2007, at the age of 19, he rose to fame there. He assisted Benfica in capturing two Taça da Liga titles as well as the Primeira Liga, the team’s first league crown in five years. Di Mara made the €25 million transfer to the Spanish club Real Madrid in 2010, where he won the UEFA Champions League and La Liga.

Later, in 2014, he signed for Manchester United in a then-British record move costing £59.7 million (€75.6 million), although he departed the club the following year to join Paris Saint-Germain. In France, Di Mara won three domestic quadruples—five league titles, five Coupe de France, and four Coupe de la Ligue—and also assisted the team in reaching its first Champions League Final. He also has the ninth-highest goal total and the most assists overall for the team.

At the age of 20, Di Mara made his senior international debut for Argentina. Since then, he has earned over 120 caps and participated in eight major tournaments. He participated in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, the 2015 Copa América, and the Copa América Centenario. Di Mara assisted Argentina in winning the 2021 Copa América by scoring the game-winning goal in the championship match.
