An agreement has been struck between Manchester United and Ajax for the transfer of Antony, pending a medical examination, the completion of player terms, and permission from foreign authorities.
Antony has recorded 31 goals and 27 assists in 134 club appearances for Ajax and Sao Paulo. He has also made nine appearances for his national team, Brazil, and has recorded two goals and two assists in those games.
He has one gold medal from the 2020 Summer Olympics under his belt in addition to his two Eredivisie championships.
Antony will join Manchester United for a transfer fee of €95 million, plus €5 million in add-ons, according to the agreement reached between the two clubs. After the €105 million that was paid to re-sign Paul Pogba from Juventus in 2016, he will become the club’s second-most expensive player in the history of the club.
