Barcelona potential 22-23 XI featuring Robert Lewandowski and Raphinha

It’s been three years since Barcelona won La Liga and seven years since they lifted the most prestigious trophy in Europe – the UEFA Champions League.

A huge part of why Barcelona was so successful throughout this period is due to their famous duo of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Messi and Suarez combined for 57 goals during the 2018-19 La Liga season.

Barcelona is looking for a new striker pair that can replicate the same magic Messi and Suarez produced. The current list of attacking options hasn’t quite been able to live up to the expectations. They’re all brilliant players, although when you are trying to live up to the expectation of a seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, it’s going to be difficult for sure.

Barcelona’s Current Forwards:

  • Ousmane Dembele
  • Memphis Depay
  • Ansu Fati
  • Adama Traore
  • Martin Braithwaite
  • Luuk de Jong
  • Ferran Torres
  • Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Barcelona could potentially spend up to €100m during this summer transfer window to sign Robert Lewandowski (€35m) and Raphina (€70m). The pair has been a key figure in their respective team’s success and could keep that same streak alive at their new home in Spain.
