Despite Manchester United’s interest in Ferguson, he has now made it his commitment to the club official on Wednesday.
The 18-year-old striker arrived from Bohemians in the summer of 2021.
Head coach Roberto De Zerbi said of Ferguson’s new deal: “Evan’s contract extension is great news. He trains and plays like a senior player with many years of experience and has become an important member of the squad.
“The aim is to help him become one of the strongest strikers in Europe.”
The Republic of Ireland international has scored eight goals and three assists in all competitions.
Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. currently sits 8th in the Premier League and faces Nottingham Forest on Thursday at the City Ground.
