Gift Orban has now led his Belgium club K.A.A. Gent into the quarter-finals of the Europa Conference League with a 3-minute & 25-second hattrick over Turkish Süper Lig club İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.
Orban signed for KAA Genk in this past January transfer window from Norwegian club Stabæk Fotball for a fee of €3.3 million.
Orban has scored 12 goals in nine games. Five of those came from the Europa Conference League, and seven from league games he has caught the attention of top European teams who are closely monitoring his situation until the end of the season.
KAA Genk may have hit the lottery because they are now asking for € 50 million for the 20-year-old Nigerian striker. No official offers have been made as of right now, although it sure looks like the top clubs will be calling soon.
