Everton brought Alli to Goodison Park from Spurs last February, with the transfer fee worth up to a whopping £40m if add-ons were met.
The Everton loanee was loaned out to Turkish side Besiktas for the 2022-23 season last August after managing only 11 appearances for the Toffees.
The 26-year-old has made 15 appearances but has not featured since he was taken off at half-time in a rare start against Antalyaspor last month.
Besiktas had the option to buy out Alli’s contract for £6.9 million, but it now looks like the former two-time PFA Young Player of the Year is set to return to Everton.
A player who once reached €100m in value three years ago has had one of the most prominent falls the football world has ever seen. Alli only 26 years old has much time to make one of the best comebacks.
