Weston McKennie Leeds United

Weston McKennie has recently been linked with a move out of Italian club Juventus and is finally heading to the Premier League. Leeds United has agreed on a €1.2m loan fee, €33m plus add-ons as buy option deal with Juventus for the American. The 24-year-old Texas native moved to Juventus in 2021 from German club Schalke 04. Recent news reported that Juventus obtained a 15-point deduction due to illegal financial decisions made by the club and is currently sitting outside of Champions League spots.

The decision for McKennie was tough, as Juventus is still a giant in Italian soccer and has been receiving plenty of playing time from Massimiliano Allegri. But the move to the Premier League will be one that has been on McKennie’s radar for a while, especially since he will be linking up with fellow American players Brenden Aaronson and Tyler Adams at Leeds United.
