Julian Alvarez Contract Extension Manchester City

Julian Alvarez is a forward who plays for the Premier League club Manchester City and the Argentina national team.

Alvarez’s current contract is until 2027 and earns around £50,000 a week on his current deal.

Manchester City is looking to ward off any potential buyers across Europe such as Barcelona by offering Alvarez a salary of 10 million euros per season until 2028.

Alvarez has had limited playing time this season due to Erling Haaland’s stunning form. That could change because it has been reported that PSG are lining up an offer of 200 million euros for Haaland an offer that any club would refuse to accept.

Although Alvarez has had limited playing time he still has managed to score 10 goals and provide 3 assists this season across all competitions.

Alvarez had 4 goals and 1 assist in this past 2022 FIFA World Cup.
