Máximo Perrone Manchester City Transfer

Manchester City has completed the signing of Argentine midfielder Máximo Perrone from Vélez Sarsfield. Perrone will be joining the English club Manchester City until June 2028 with a deal of around $8m plus taxes.

Maximo Perrone was born on January 7, 2003 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and he began his career in football with Velez Sarsfield. He now plays for the Argentina national team. First, he began his career as a member of the Infantil squad, which competes in the under 11-under 13 age bracket. After that, he participated in games for the Juvenil squad, which is comprised of players aged 14 to 19 years old, for the subsequent six years.

During this period, he was also chosen for Argentina’s national under-16 squad and competed in the famous Mondial Football Montaigu tournament, which is open to under-16 teams and clubs.

On March 6, 2022, Perrone made his debut for the senior squad in the Copa Libertadores match against Estudiantes. He played the full match, although his side suffered a 4-1 loss in the match. Two months and one game later, he would make his debut in the league against Club Atletico Patronato.
