Marc Cucurella Manchester City Transfer

Marc Cucurella signed a five-year contract with Brighton & Hove Albion in 2021 – which doesn’t leave him as a free agent until 2026. However, his performance in the Premier League in the 2021/2022 season caught the eye of Premier League giants, Manchester City.

It has been reported that Manchester City is now set to submit an opening bid for Marc Cucurella – which has an estimated market value of around $30M according to Tansfermarkt.

Marc Cucurella is a 23-year-old Spanish professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the Spain national team.

Formed at Barcelona, he spent most of his time in the reserve team, making a sole substitute appearance in the Copa del Rey for the first team. He went on to play over 100 La Liga games for Eibar and Getafe, before joining Brighton in 2021.

Cucurella earned 49 caps for Spain over every youth level from under-16 to under-23, winning the silver medal with the latter at the 2020 Olympic tournament. He made his debut for the senior team in 2021.
