Neymar transfer to Al Hilal FC

Brazil’s renowned footballer Neymar has finalized his transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Saudi’s Al Hilal, both clubs announced on Tuesday.

ESPN revealed on Sunday that Neymar, Brazil’s co-top scorer, was nearing an agreement with Al Hilal on personal terms following a settled transfer amount of €90 million ($98.6m).

Neymar joins recent Al Hilal acquisitions like Kalidou Koulibaly, Rúben Neves, and Sergej Milinković-Savić.

Al Hilal, now under the Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund alongside Al Nassr, Al Ahli, and Al Ittihad, became part of Saudi’s “Sports Clubs Investment and Privatization Project” in June.

Reportedly, Neymar’s new two-year deal with Al Hilal will offer him an annual paycheck close to $100 million, approximately half of what Cristiano Ronaldo earns at Al Nassr.
