Takumi Minamino initially signed a 4-year contract with Liverpool in 2020, which leaves him with 2 years left on his contract. The 27-year-old Japanese native saw less playing time due to the signing of Diego Jota, which eventually left him on Loan in Southampton.
With Liverpool signing Darwin Núñez, it is unlikely Minamino will receive more playing time. Minamino is looking for an exit out of Anfield to gain a starting role in another club. With 2 years left on his contract, Liverpool is willing to let him go for €17 million.
Three clubs are leading the current race for the Japanese striker, which are Wolverhampton, Leeds, and Monaco.
Minamino is set to make a decision in the upcoming days.
