BACK TO USA CLUBS

Hi, I’m Carlos! A coach, sports enthusiast, and the founder of FCScout.com.

I fell in love with the game at a very young age like many of you. I’ve been following and playing soccer for many years.

Throughout my career, I always enjoyed helping soccer players chase their dreams, which is why I started this website. I wanted to reach a larger audience outside of my local area and fcscout.com was born.

This website is a platform I will be using to update club pages on any tryouts, stadiums, players, tech, and more from clubs around the world. I also create free recruitment profiles for players looking to have that extra competitive edge when reaching out to clubs.

That’s it. That’s my pitch for you to stick around (or browse the site as you please).

This is already too much text for a “see more” drop-down button thing. If you want to reach out to me, head on over to my contact page 🙂

Club América History

América was one of the original teams to join what is now known as the Primera División. Both of these clubs are the most successful and most popular in the country; in fact, they are the only clubs in the history of the league to have never been demoted. As a result, they have a long-standing rivalry with Guadalajara. El Superclásico is the name given to games between these two teams, which are widely regarded as the most intense competition in Mexico and among the most intense in the world. In addition, América compete against local rivals Cruz Azul and Club Universidad Nacional in local derbies.

The club has won a record thirteen league titles, as well as a record six Copa Mexico titles and six Campeón de Campeones cups. Additionally, the team holds the record for most Campeón de Campeones titles with six. In international competitions, América has won eleven trophies recognized by FIFA, the most of any team from the CONCACAF region. This makes them the most successful club in the region. It has a record seven victories in the CONCACAF Champions Cup or Champions League, as well as two victories in the Copa Interamericana and one in the CONCACAF Giants Cup.

Stadium

The Estadio Azteca in Mexico City is where América plays its games while they are at home. The Mexican architect Pedro Ramrez Vázquez was responsible for the design of the stadium, which was opened for the first time on May 29, 1966 with a match between América and Torino, which ended in a 2–2 draw.

Arlindo Dos Santos of Brazil scored the game’s opening goal, while José Alves of Brazil scored the game’s second goal. The first kick was made by Gustavo Diaz Ordaz, who is the President of Mexico, and Sir Stanley Rous, who is the President of FIFA, was the witness.

Since the stadium’s opening, the club and the Mexican national football team have taken turns using it as their primary training field. Other club teams, including Necaxa (1966–1970 and 1982–2003), Atlante (1966–1982, 1996–2001, and 2004–2007), Universidad Nacional (1967–1969), Atlético Espanol (1970–1982), and Cruz Azul (1971–1996), have all called the stadium their home at various points in time.

In addition to its role as a home field, the stadium has played host to a number of major sporting and cultural events over the course of its history, including the 1968 Summer Olympics, the 1970 FIFA World Cup, the 1975 Pan American Games, the 1983 FIFA World Youth Championship, the 1986 FIFA World Cup, the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup, the 2011 FIFA U-17 World Cup Final, the Copa Interamericana, the Copa Libertadores de América, a number of music concerts, various political events, and

Crest

In 1916, the year that Club América was established, its emblem was the letter “C,” which stood for “Club,” overlapping a “A,” which stood for “América.” This was the club’s name at the time. After a brief period in which the team’s name was changed to Club Unión, it was reverted to Club América in the middle of the 1920s, and the crest was modified, with a map of the Americas behind the initials ‘CA,’ and encased in a football, all in the team’s colors, which were cream and blue.

This occurred after a brief period in which the team’s name was changed to Club Unión. Since that time, the design of the crest has undergone very minor adjustments; however, towards the turn of the 21st century, the vertical line that used to run across the middle of the crest was removed.

In the early 1980s, the club’s emblem consisted of a triangle that was encircled by an image of an eagle (since the eagle was the club’s nickname). The most recent alteration to the crest occurred in 2010, when the yellow and blue colors were made to appear more brilliant, and the outline and border were made darker.
