YEAR OF BIRTH: 2004
Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, from a young age I was seen as a natural athlete. My mother tried everything for me to play more traditional American sports, but it was soccer that I truly fell in love with. After being scouted out by the highest-level coach for my age group, I started my academic career at Concorde Fire. For 4 years I played under him, as he taught me personally to play in the Brazilian, free-caring playstyle. Over the years I spent most of my free time playing futsal, indoor, and 1v1s vs the coach’s son who is the same age as me. The skills that were developed during this time led me to make and becoming a starter on Concorde Fire’s DA team.
The problem with playing DA in the USA is how much it costs and how much you need to travel. For those reasons, I stopped playing for the academy. A year later, I became a freshman. I played on the varsity team since that freshman year, being only 1 of 2 players to do so. As a senior now, in the past few years I have been a main part of the team. Winning our first Region title in our school’s history and reaching the State Championship final where I got an assist in a 3-2 loss as a sophomore. Junior year I really established myself as the main Attacking Midfielder and led my team to the best record in school history before suffering a hamstring injury, putting me out for the rest of the season. Fall of 2022, I played at NASA TopHat as the fields were close and it is more of a way to develop my skills.
As a player, my main strength is dropping into pockets of space, collecting the ball, and driving at the defense as the main playmaker. These abilities make it so that I am always on the field no matter the position. Every team needs someone who can carry the ball and take chances that most players are afraid of taking, and that’s where I shine the most.
Being ambidextrous, I am the main playmaker with a selfless playstyle to create goal-scoring opportunities for my team. I lead Johns Creek High School Varsity Soccer leading in assists with 8 in 13 games and in chances created.
