Lewis was born in Kajiado county in Kenya.Born of two kenyan parents.Lewis is from a middle class background.He believes in success and hardwork which he learnt from his parents and older siblings.Having being a last born in their family,he got support from every member. He started playing football when he was 10 years of age at a club in kajiado named Tembea Fc where he got courage from having played with older people.
He also played in his secondary school and reached regional level and was defeated but his career did not end there he strived and continued with his career. He later joined Eastmart Football club where he motivated his fellow players to many wins. He got mentorship from different sources that helped him in growing physically and mentally. Due to his good performance in the game he played, many are the times he was chosen in the first eleven team.
