YEAR OF BIRTH: 2008

Lucas Choi commenced his youth competitive soccer career at age 8 playing at Monbulk SC, a local soccer club in the outer Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Then, as he progressed, he moved to NPL clubs (National Premier League) Nunawading City FC, Kingston City Fc and Brunswick City SC continuing to improve his goalkeeper skills.

As he developed his goalkeeping skills, in 2022, his coach and technical director also nominated for the TIDC (Talent Identification Centre) program delivered by Football Federation Victoria at Thornbury, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Lucas also enjoys maintaining a high-level of fitness and technical training during the off-season, attending private sessions.

Described as an intelligent, modern day GK who reads the game carefully, adding value to his team as a Sweeper Keeper and utilises great footskills to his advantage.
