FC Midtjylland Crest
The name and logo of the FC Midtjylland were presented at a press conference on July 1, 1999, the day the club was formally established. The crest represents a wolf’s head. Folklore claims that, roughly 200 years ago, wolves used to reside on the moors where the cities of Herning and Ikast now stand, despite the fact that there are no wild wolves in Denmark today.
The supporters’ group for FC Midtjylland is called “Black Wolves,” and the team is now referred to as “Ulvene” (The Wolves). The club crest also displays the club name and its year of formation.
