We play soccer every day and organize Mini Tournaments according to the number of children who attend.

Defensor Sporting History
Defensor Sporting Club was originally established on March 15, 1913 under the name Club Atlético Defensor. In 1989, following a merger with Sporting Club Uruguay, the club changed its name to Defensor Sporting Club. They participated in the inaugural season of Uruguay’s first professional league, which took place in 1932 in the Uruguayan Primera División.
Defensor has triumphed in a large number of preliminary competitions for the Copa Libertadores (Pre-Liguilla) and has competed for Uruguay on a number of occasions in international competition.
It is the first club of numerous players like as Jorge “Polilla” da Silva, Sergio “Manteca” Martnez, Sebastián Abreu, Andrés Fleurquin, Marcelo Tejera, Daro Silva, Gonzalo Vargas, Diego “Ruso” Pérez, Nicolás Olivera, Martn Cáceres, Maxi Pereira, lvaro González, and Tabaré Videz.
This team is A football (ftbol) school of thought was established by the legendary coach Prof. José Ricardo de León, who led Defensor to victory in the national championship in 1976. This school of thought has been consistently criticized for being overly defensive, but it is still practiced today by a number of teams and coaches.
Defensor Sporting Stadium
An open-air football stadium known as the Estadio Luis Franzini can be found in Montevideo, Uruguay. It is also known simply as the Luis Franzini Stadium. Defensor Sporting plays their home games at a stadium that has a maximum capacity of 16,000 people and serves as their home field.
During the 1997 season, the stadium was renovated, hence it was closed for that time. It was renamed the Nuevo Estadio Luis Franzini when it reopened for business on August 16, 1998. The renovations included expanding the capacity of the sitting area as well as leveling the playing field. Historically, the terrain was sloping in a westerly direction, toward the Rio de la Plata.
The Luis Franzini Stadium is located on municipal land on the Parque Rodo at the intersection of Herrera y Reissig and Sarmiento Streets. It is named after Luis Franzini, who served as president of the Uruguayan Soccer Commission (Comisión de Ftbol) and Defensor Sporting for a combined total of thirty-three years.
