PWD Bamenda History
In 2020, PWD Bamenda earned their first domestic and first Elite One title when they were named champions after the season couldn’t be completed due to the impacts of the pandemic. This was PWD Bamenda’s maiden domestic and first Elite One victory.
This club is known by a few different names, including P-ton ton and Abakwa boys, and it is one of the oldest clubs in Cameroon. It is also the club that bears the flag for Cameroon’s North West Region.
PWD Bamenda Stadium
The official home field for the squad is the Bamenda Municipal Stadium, which has a capacity of 2500 and has been undergoing renovations since 2013. PWD uses the fields at the University of Bamenda campus and the YONG Sports Complexe at Mile 5 Nkwen-Bamenda for their home games as a result of these works.
