Inter Club d’Escaldes Youth Development System
The Escola de l’Inter Club d’Escaldes is one of the most numerous in the Principality of Andorra, with more than 150 registered during this season. Our grassroots football has the support of the Commune of Escaldes-Engordany, which has allowed us to organize sporting activities beyond the official competitions. The main objective of our School is to train players with values, beyond the result. For this reason we have a staff of educators and trainers for the well-being of girls and boys. Our base is a fundamental pillar for the development of our club’s identity, with the dissemination of its sporting activities and the promotion of social and solidarity initiatives.

Inter Club d’Escaldes History
Inter Club d’Escaldes was established in 1991 in Escaldes-Engordany, and it became a founding member of Andorra’s Primera Divisió in 1995. Currently, the club competes in the Andorran Premier League. After that, the club played in the top flight until April 2015, when the team was demoted after finishing eighth in the regular league. Since then, the club has played in the top flight. May 2017 marked the club’s return to the Primera Divisió after an absence of two seasons.
L’Inter finished in third place twice in the Primera División over the course of two consecutive seasons (1999–00 and 2000–01), and they finished as runners-up in the Copa Constitució during the 2001–02 season, despite losing to FC Lusitanos by a score of 2-0.
As a result of the club’s success in the 2019–20 Primera Divisió season, it was awarded the right to compete in the preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League in the 2020–21 season. This right was granted after the club won the title of Primera Divisió champion. This historic competition marks the very first time in the club’s history that it has taken part in an official competition held outside of the country in which it is based.
Inter Club d’Escaldes Stadium
The matches of the Primera Divisió and Segona Divisió are organized by the Andorran Football Federation and played in the stadiums that are owned by the Andorran Football Federation. In addition, the federation is responsible for allocating the stadiums and playing fields that will be used for the training sessions of each team. Since the 2016–17 season, FC Encamp has been the only club in Encamp to have its very own stadium, which is known as Camp de Futbol d’Encamp and is located in Prada de Moles. Former matches from the Primera Divisió and Segona Divisió were played at the Camp d’Esports d’Aixovall up until the year 2016.
