BACK TO ENGLAND CLUBS

Hi, I’m Carlos! A coach, sports enthusiast, and the founder of FCScout.com.

I fell in love with the game at a very young age like many of you. I’ve been following and playing soccer for many years.

Throughout my career, I always enjoyed helping soccer players chase their dreams, which is why I started this website. I wanted to reach a larger audience outside of my local area and fcscout.com was born.

This website is a platform I will be using to update club pages on any tryouts, stadiums, players, tech, and more from clubs around the world. I also create free recruitment profiles for players looking to have that extra competitive edge when reaching out to clubs.

That’s it. That’s my pitch for you to stick around (or browse the site as you please).

This is already too much text for a “see more” drop-down button thing. If you want to reach out to me, head on over to my contact page 🙂

Sutton United FC is an English professional football club based in Sutton, South London, England. The club competes in the EFL League Two, the fourth tier of English football.

Sutton United FC Youth Development System

Sutton United Colts

Sutton United Colts is the grassroots section affiliated to Sutton United Football Club, and has 20 teams playing between the U7 and U16 age groups.

The Sutton United Colts teams play in the Surrey Youth League on a Sunday, and at the competitive age groups, most teams play in the Premier Elite Division.

The Colts strive to offer the very best standard of football outside of a professional academy environment, and their grassroots games are regularly watched by professional scouts from Sutton United, as well as other professional academies from the Premier League, Championship, and beyond.

Sutton United FC Academy

Real Pathways

Their Cat3 Professional Academy at Sutton United Football Club often sends scouts to watch the Colts play and they offer a realistic pathway from the Colts to the Academy for those players who excel training and playing with Sutton United Colts. More than 40 players were promoted from the Colts to the Academy at the end of the 2021/22 season, and they’re proud to be the biggest club in the area offering these pathways.

The Sutton United Academy in turn seeks to develop players that are one day ready to play in the Sutton United first team, which currently plays in the English Football League, Division Two.

The 2022/23 season has seen first team appearances at Sutton United from players who have previously played in the Colts, and the Academy.

Sutton United FC Junior Girls’ Teams

Sutton United Girls run teams from U10 to U16, and form part of the Sutton United Youth and Community Foundation.

They specifically focus on developing players to be prepared for the rigors and skill sets involved in the Women’s game, and therefore their aim is continuous development rather than winning, although the development model has been successful in delivering league and cup successes across the years.

Sutton United FC offers a real pathway in to the Sutton United Women’s teams, with 12 players graduating from Sutton United Girls age groups to the Sutton United Women in 2022/23 alone.

Sutton United FC has also developed players who have furthered their playing careers by signing for professional academy teams, including Chelsea, Southampton, Brighton, Charlton and Millwall.

All of their coaches are volunteers, with the majority also professionals from the footballing industry, with ranges of qualifications from FA Cat 1 to UEFA B, as well as DBS checked, Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding trained.

Sutton United FC holds annual trials in May for players keen to join a club with a real pathway.
