Defensa y Justicia History

After winning the championship in 1982, the team was rapidly promoted to higher divisions, first to Primera C Metropolitana the following year, and then three years later, reaching the next division, Primera B, when Hugo Garca was the team’s coach. Defensa only spent one season in Primera B before being elevated to Primera B Nacional the following season (1986). Since May 17, 2014, Defensa y Justicia has been playing in the highest division of Argentina’s football competition, the Primera Division (the highest level in the country)
