Santa Barbara Soccer Club is one of the major elite youth-development organizations on California's Central Coast. The club provides an important pathway for players from Santa Barbara and surrounding communities who otherwise would need to travel south toward Ventura or Los Angeles for comparable national-level competition. Over its history, Santa Barbara SC has developed a reputation for producing technically capable players and providing opportunities for advancement into college, professional academies, and higher levels of the sport.
