Hi, I’m Carlos! A coach, sports enthusiast, and the founder of FCScout.com.
I fell in love with the game at a very young age like many of you. I’ve been following and playing soccer for many years.
Throughout my career, I always enjoyed helping soccer players chase their dreams, which is why I started this website. I wanted to reach a larger audience outside of my local area and fcscout.com was born.
This website is a platform I will be using to update club pages on any tryouts, stadiums, players, tech, and more from clubs around the world. I also create free recruitment profiles for players looking to have that extra competitive edge when reaching out to clubs.
That’s it. That’s my pitch for you to stick around (or browse the site as you please).
This is already too much text for a “see more” drop-down button thing. If you want to reach out to me, head on over to my contact page 🙂
Real Valladolid Club de Fútbol, or simply Real Valladolid, is a Spanish professional football club based in Valladolid, Spain. The club competes in La Liga, the top flight of Spanish football.
Real Valladolid Youth Development System
Real Valladolid Academy
If Real Valladolid has been characterized by something throughout its history, it is for having been a “producer” Club of good footballers, forged in its lower categories, in its quarry, some of them international with Spain.
The philosophy of Real Valladolid is to go deeper every day in this line of work with the youth of the lower categories of Real Valladolid.
PLAYERS RESIDENCE
Undoubtedly, among the material resources that Real Valladolid has to support the work of the quarry, the Real Valladolid Residence for Young Players stands out above all, located in the residential area of Parquesol (Calle Padre Llanos, 77) , one of the most modern neighborhoods, with the best facilities and the highest quality of life in Valladolid. Its location is ideal for young players because a few meters away are modern public secondary schools, the Club’s training fields (Annex Fields, with one field of natural grass and two of artificial grass) and a civic center of the Hon. Valladolid City Council.
Inaugurated on June 22, 1999, the Real Valladolid Residence for Young Players (located at Calle Padre Llanos, 77. 47014 Valladolid) is one of the best facilities for young soccer players in Spain and Europe. Its management implies a great human and economic effort for the Real Valladolid Foundation, which tries to offer young people between 14 and 17 years of age the best material and human means to develop as athletes and as people, because when a young person becomes the family of the Residence, the Real Valladolid Foundation acquires with their parents the commitment to protect their physical and educational growth.
Living together in the Young Players’ Residence implies assuming a commitment to values such as companionship, respect, education, rules of coexistence, care of space and objects, cleanliness, punctuality, healthy habits, etc.
When parents decide to entrust the Real Valladolid Young Players’ Residence with the education and care of a child who is part of the lower categories of the Club, there are several factors that lead them to make that important decision:
- Scholarships from the Real Valladolid Foundation that include, in addition to the accommodation and maintenance of the young person, the educational expenses of the young person.
- Short distances to both the educational centers and the sports facilities of the entity.
- Monitoring of the academic and psychological training of the adolescent with the support of a team of private teachers.
- Extreme quality in food, cleanliness and order.
- Rules of coexistence appropriate to the formation of the adolescent.
- Commitment of the management of the center in the education of the young.
Real Valladolid INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS
In recent years, Real Valladolid has opened its Young Players Residence to the world, in such a way that a small number of soccer players-students from other countries can enjoy a global, sporting and educational project, called the Real Valladolid International Project.
In its sports aspect, Real Valladolid offers these young people from other countries its facilities, its qualified staff (coaches, physical trainers, medical and psychological services, etc.) and its experience of decades in working with adolescent soccer players for their progression .
In its educational aspect, Real Valladolid protects the studies of these young people, in which, without a doubt, one of the pillars is the learning of the Spanish language, which has one of its cradles in the capital of Valladolid.

Real Valladolid History
One trophy that holds a great deal of significance for Valladolid is the Copa de la Liga from 1983–1984, which is no longer played for. It has finished in second place in the Copa del Rey on two separate times (1949–50 and 1988–89). Additionally, it has competed in two iterations of the UEFA Cup (1984–85 and 1997–98) and one iteration of the UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup (1989–90).
Real Valladolid B, the second team in the Real Valladolid organization, is presently competing in the Segunda División B. Valladolid is the most successful football club in Castile and León in terms of honors and history. The club has spent a total of 44 seasons in the First Division, 35 seasons in the Second Division, and 10 seasons in the Third Division since making its debut in La Liga in the 1948–49 season.
At the time, it was the first club from the region to play in La Liga; five others have since followed in its footsteps. In terms of overall league points, Valladolid has traditionally ranked as the 13th-best team in all of Spain. Manuel Badenes and Jorge da Silva, two of its players, are the only ones to have ever won the Pichichi Trophy. Ten of its players have appeared for the Spain national football team at some point in their careers.
Stadium
A football stadium known as Estadio José Zorrilla may be found in Valladolid, Spain. The stadium has a capacity of 27,846 seats, which places it in the 22nd place among the largest stadiums in Spain and makes it the largest stadium in Castile and León.
The stadium opened in 1982 and was given its current name in honor of the poet José Zorrilla y Moral. Before moving here, they used to play at the previous Estadio José Zorrilla. At this time, preparations are being made to increase the capacity of the stadium to 40,000 spectators. The name of this endeavor is the Valladolid Arena project.
Crest
The emblem of Real Valladolid is considered to be among the most iconic in all of Spanish football. Since 1962, when a number of other components were added to the crest, it has not been extensively used. In point of fact, the current Real Valladolid design for the year 2020 retains the look and feel of the very first logo for the team, which was created in 1928.
Ownership
On September 3, 2018, it was revealed that Brazilian former international footballer Ronaldo had become the majority shareholder by purchasing a 51 percent controlling position in the club. Ronaldo’s purchase made him the club’s new majority shareholder.
Valladolid finished the season in the 16th position in La Liga in its first season under the ownership of its new owner. As of the month of April in the year 2020, Ronaldo controlled 82% of the club’s shares.
