I fell in love with the game at a very young age like many of you. I’ve been following and playing soccer for many years.
Throughout my career, I always enjoyed helping soccer players chase their dreams, which is why I started this website. I wanted to reach a larger audience outside of my local area and fcscout.com was born.
This website is a platform I will be using to update club pages on any tryouts, stadiums, players, tech, and more from clubs around the world. I also create free recruitment profiles for players looking to have that extra competitive edge when reaching out to clubs.

IS YOUR CHILD UNDER 7, LOVES FOOTBALL AND DREAMS OF HAVING THE CHANCE TO ONE DAY JOIN OUR TEAMS?
Currently, the “football school” department of the SL16 Football Campus organizes and trains its teams from the U8 category.
We therefore organize “test sessions” for players recruited by our scouting unit or for players who spontaneously requested an evaluation.
During these, children have the opportunity to discover the working method developed within our training center (learning many technical gestures, games of oppositions in 1 against 1, development of thinking and thinking. autonomy…) but also to show us all their qualities as a young footballer.
At the end of the session, three scenarios can arise:
1- The child does not receive a second invitation. He therefore continues his training mainly in his club. He nevertheless remains present on the lists of our recruiters as a player to be followed. If he is a member of a partner club * of Standard de Liège, we will be kept informed of his progress.
2- The child is invited to participate in other sessions in order to refine our evaluation.
3- The child is technically, mentally and physically ready to join an elite club and is therefore offered a future integration.
In any case, it will be a great experience for us but also and above all for your child. Indeed, being invited to the SL16 Football Campus is a great step in a player’s long training journey. We will do everything to keep it a wonderful memory, no matter what!

Standard Liège Elite Project
From U13 to U21, our club does not organize any test on the basis of a spontaneous application. We work with our scouting unit which travels across Belgium every weekend in search of future talents.
Our partner clubs are also present to indicate us players who could join our club. They also organize an annual “Detect Day” up to the U15 category. You will be able to register via their website or social networks. A schedule will be published shortly.

Stadium
Football matches are played at the Stade Maurice Dufrasne in Liège, which is located in Belgium. The stadium has a capacity of 27,670 guests. As the home field of Standard Liège, it is also referred to by its former name, the Stade de Sclessin, which comes from the name of the neighborhood in Liège where it is situated. In addition, Belgium has competed on this field, most notably in a qualifying match for the 2010 World Cup against Estonia in September 2008 and in a match for the 2017 World Cup against Gibraltar on August 31, 2017. During Euro 2000, the stadium was the site of three matches.
Maurice Dufrasne, for whom the stadium is named, served as Chairman of Standard Liège from 1909 (the year the stadium was constructed) all the way through 1931. It was common knowledge that he would invite players over to his house and treat them to a supper if they performed admirably, particularly in home matches.
Crest
The Standard de Liege logo, which was first used in 1923, had an elegantly truncated crest that was vertically divided into two parts: the red one, which was located on the left, and the white one, which was located on the right. The only elements of the crest that were visible were the narrow black outline and the entwined “SL” letters in black, both of which were positioned on the white side of the shield. The characters were rendered in a hand-written typeface that was bold and sophisticated, and the lines of the letters were stretched out.
The gold tint in the club’s color palette was updated to a darker tone in 2013, which resulted in the overall badge having a more streamlined and stylish appearance. Above the crown was placed the star with five points, and below the crest was placed the ribbon with the year 1898 written in white on it.
Ownership
Bruno Venanzi, the vice president of Standard de Liège, purchased all of Roland Duchatelet’s shares on his own and is now the sole owner of the Liège club. Roland Duchatelet had been the club’s principal shareholder since 2011.
Bruno Venanzi was born in Liège in 1970. Beginning his professional life as a sales representative for Belgacom, MCI WorldCom, and Certipost, he earned degrees in history from the University of Liège and economics from the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Both of these universities are in Belgium.
