Hi, I’m Carlos! A coach, sports enthusiast, and the founder of FCScout.com.
I fell in love with the game at a very young age like many of you. I’ve been following and playing soccer for many years.
Throughout my career, I always enjoyed helping soccer players chase their dreams, which is why I started this website. I wanted to reach a larger audience outside of my local area and fcscout.com was born.
This website is a platform I will be using to update club pages on any tryouts, stadiums, players, tech, and more from clubs around the world. I also create free recruitment profiles for players looking to have that extra competitive edge when reaching out to clubs.
That’s it. That’s my pitch for you to stick around (or browse the site as you please).
This is already too much text for a “see more” drop-down button thing. If you want to reach out to me, head on over to my contact page 🙂

Stadium
Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore, officially spelt as MAPEI STADIUM – Città del Tricolore, is a multi-purpose stadium in Reggio Emilia, Italy. At the moment, Serie A club US Sassuolo and Serie B club A.C. Reggiana call it their home stadium, respectively.
It was erected in 1995 to take the place of the Stadio Mirabello and has a capacity of 21,584 spectators. On March 11, 2012, the name Stadio Giglio was changed to the current name, Stadio Città del Tricolore. Before that, it was known as the Stadio Giglio. The current name of the stadium was officially bestowed upon it on July 8th, 2013, for reasons related to ownership (acquired by Mapei from the comune of Reggio Emilia).
Ownership
Mapei S.p.A. is an Italian limited business that specializes in the production of chemical goods for the construction industry. The firm was established in 1937 in Milan, Italy, and is currently headquartered there. Sassuolo Football Club is owned by Mapei, which also serves as a sponsor for the club and its women’s squad. Following its acquisition of the football club, Mapei went on to purchase its own stadium, which is now known as the Mapei Stadium – Città del Tricolore and is located in Reggio Emilia. More recently, in 2019, the company opened a sports center known as the Mapei Football Center in Ca’ Marta, which is located in Sassuolo.
Mapei was a well-known brand in the cycling industry for many years prior to the company’s foray into the world of football. It supported a professional cycling team that, for a decade, dominated all of the most important competitions on the world cycling calendar. The likes of Tony Rominger, Pavel Tonkov, Andrea Tafi, Franco Ballerini, Paolo Bettini, Gianni Bugno, Oscar Freire, and Johan Museeuw were among the team’s most accomplished cyclists. The Mapei Sports Research Centre was established in Castellanza in 1996 (and subsequently relocated to Olgiate Olona) under the direction of Professor Aldo Sassi in order to provide rational scientific support for its cycling team based on a proper ethical approach. This support was to be based on a proper ethical approach. Laboratories, clinics, and centers for the study of data are all housed within its buildings. The facilities are designed to encourage proper behavior during athletic competition.
