Hi, I’m Carlos! A coach, sports enthusiast, and the founder of FCScout.com.

I fell in love with the game at a very young age like many of you. I’ve been following and playing soccer for many years.

Throughout my career, I always enjoyed helping soccer players chase their dreams, which is why I started this website. I wanted to reach a larger audience outside of my local area and fcscout.com was born.

This website is a platform I will be using to update club pages on any tryouts, stadiums, players, tech, and more from clubs around the world. I also create free recruitment profiles for players looking to have that extra competitive edge when reaching out to clubs.

That’s it. That’s my pitch for you to stick around (or browse the site as you please).

This is already too much text for a “see more” drop-down button thing. If you want to reach out to me, head on over to my contact page 🙂

Fiorentina Partner Clubs

The 2020/21 season sees the launch of Fiorentina’s new Club Affiliation program.

The club owned by Rocco Commisso has decided to make extensive changes to its affiliate scheme to lay the groundwork for a solid, constructive, long-lasting relationship with sports clubs that wish to develop their players by following Fiorentina’s training methods.

Affiliates will become Fiorentina’s reference points throughout the local area and be able to update and expand their training programs through constant, direct contact with Viola staff.

All the professionals at affiliated sports clubs take part in one-to-one training – both online and offline – where they learn the key principles of Fiorentina’s training philosophy, which places the young footballers at the heart of the teaching and learning process.

Various activities are organized with Fiorentina’s experienced staff over the course of the year. Viola scouts make regular visits to the sports clubs, while representatives of affiliates have the opportunity to watch Viola youth teams training and take part in end-of-season coaching clinics offering theoretical lessons in the classroom and practical sessions on the pitch with Fiorentina academy coaches and teams.

In addition to these technical activities, marketing events and initiatives are run with the aim of strengthening a sense of belonging to the Viola family

Sports clubs taking part in the new Club Affiliation program are classified as Football Schools, Premium Affiliated Clubs or Elite Affiliated Clubs, depending on the age of their footballers and how closely they work with Fiorentina.

We are sure that this restyled agreement with Affiliated Clubs is the first step on a long and fruitful journey together.

ACF Fiorentina History

Fiorentina has been victorious in the Italian Championship twice, once in the 1955–1956 season and again in the 1968–1969 season. Additionally, the club has taken home six Coppa Italia trophies and one Supercoppa Italiana trophy. Fiorentina achieved success on the European scene by claiming the UEFA Cup Winners Cup in 1960–1961 and then falling short in the championship match the following season.

They finished as runners-up in the European Cup in 1956–1957 after losing to Real Madrid, and they also came close to winning the UEFA Cup in 1989–1990, finishing as runners-up against Juventus after losing the first leg in Turin and drawing in the second leg in Avellino. Both times, the competition was against Real Madrid. Fiorentina is one of fifteen European teams that have competed in the finals of all three of the major continental competitions: the Champions League (1956–1957, the first Italian team to reach the final in the top continental competition), the UEFA Cup Winners (1960–1961 and 1961–1962), and the UEFA Cup. Fiorentina was the first Italian team to reach the final in the top continental competition (1989–1990).

The team has been playing its home games in the Stadio Artemio Franchi since 1931. The stadium’s current capacity is 43,147 people. Over the course of its history, the stadium has been known by a variety of names and has been subject to numerous restorations. The moniker “Viola” is commonly used to refer to Fiorentina, which is a reference to the team’s signature purple colors.

Stadium

Football matches are played at the Stadio Artemio Franchi in Florence, which is located in Italy. At the moment, it serves as the residence of ACF Fiorentina. The name “Comunale” was once commonly used to refer to this venue. When it was first built, it was known as the Stadio Giovanni Berta, after the Florentine fascist Giovanni Berta, who was responsible for its construction.

The stadium is made completely of reinforced concrete, and it features a tower that is 70 meters (230 feet) tall and bears the flagstaff for the stadium. This structure is referred known as the “Tower of Marathon.” Spiral ramps wrap around the tower’s foundation and connect the lower levels of the grandstand with the uppermost tiers of the structure. It was once known as the “Comunale,” but in 1991 it was renamed after Artemio Franchi, who had served as president of the FIGC in the past.

During preparations for the 1990 FIFA World Cup, the stadium received extensive renovations, one of which involved eliminating the running track and expanding the number of seats available. During the World Cup, this stadium was the site of three matches in Group A as well as Argentina’s victory over Yugoslavia in the quarterfinals by penalty shootout. Approximately 43,000 people can be seated at the same time at the stadium.

Crest

The fleur-de-lis, which is the official sign of the city of Florence and is depicted in red on a white background, has played an important role in the overall symbolism of the club.

The symbol we use now is a kite-shaped double lozenge with a gold border around it. The name of the club is represented by the letters “AC” in white and the letter “F” in red, which are found on the background of the outer lozenge, which is purple. The interior lozenge is white with a gold border and a red fleur-de-lis representing Florence in the center. Between the years 1992 and 2002, this logo was used, but once the club was revived in the wake of the financial crisis, the new iteration was unable to continue using the same design.

Florentia Viola was instead granted permission by the comune of Florence to use a stylized version of the city’s coat of arms, which is used in other city documents. The current club crest was purchased by Diego Della Valle the following year in a judicial auction for the price of €2.5 million, making it the most expensive club crest in all of Italian football.
