Hi, I’m Carlos! A coach, sports enthusiast, and the founder of FCScout.com.
I fell in love with the game at a very young age like many of you. I’ve been following and playing soccer for many years.
Throughout my career, I always enjoyed helping soccer players chase their dreams, which is why I started this website. I wanted to reach a larger audience outside of my local area and fcscout.com was born.
This website is a platform I will be using to update club pages on any tryouts, stadiums, players, tech, and more from clubs around the world. I also create free recruitment profiles for players looking to have that extra competitive edge when reaching out to clubs.
That’s it. That’s my pitch for you to stick around (or browse the site as you please).
This is already too much text for a “see more” drop-down button thing. If you want to reach out to me, head on over to my contact page 🙂

SSC Napoli History
The club was established in 1926, although throughout its early years it had comparatively little success, winning the Coppa Italia only once, in 1962. After that, Napoli enjoyed a greater level of success in the 1980s, particularly after the club signed Diego Maradona. Because of Maradona’s contributions to the Naples team during his time there, the club decided to retire his number 10 shirt after the team won multiple trophies.
In 1987 and 1990, Napoli was the only team in the league to win the title during this time span. However, in the years that followed his departure, Napoli encountered significant financial difficulties and went through many relegations before being reestablished in 2004 under the leadership of film producer Aurelio De Laurentiis. The club has been able to maintain its stability thanks to his leadership, which has resulted in a resurgence of success on the field, with victories in the Coppa Italia in 2012, 2014, and 2020.
Napoli has the fourth largest fanbase in Italy, as measured by attendance, and was ranked as the fifth highest-earning football club in Serie A, with total revenue of 182 million euros for the 2017–18 season. Napoli’s fandom is also the fourth largest in the world. The club’s value was estimated by Forbes to be $379 million in 2018, placing it as the fifth most expensive club in Italy. In addition to this, Napoli is a part of the European Club Association as an associate member.
The team has played all of their home games at the Stadio San Paolo since 1959, and their traditional colors for their uniforms are sky blue shirts with white shorts. A long-standing rivalry exists between Napoli and Roma, and the club also competes against Palermo. The phrase “O surdato ‘nnammurato” is used as the club’s anthem.
Stadium
The stadium known as Stadio San Paolo, or Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, is located in the western suburb of Fuorigrotta in Naples, Italy. It is the third largest football stadium in Italy, after Milan’s San Siro and Rome’s Stadio Olimpico, and it is the largest stadium in Italy that is used solely by one team. Its official name is Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The stadium was the location of the football preliminary rounds for the Summer Olympics held in Rome in 1960. At the moment, its primary purpose is to host football matches, and it serves as the home turf for S.S.C. Napoli. The stadium was first built in 1959 and has undergone substantial renovations in 1989 and again in 2018 in preparation for the FIFA World Cup. At the moment, 55,000 spectators can be accommodated inside the stadium.
Crest
The letter “N” is quite large and is centered within a circle on the Napoli club crest. The origin of this crest can be traced back to Internazionale Napoli, who wore shirts with a pattern that was quite similar to this one. Since the club formally adopted the “N badge” as its representation, Napoli have modified it slightly at various occasions; sometimes it has the club’s name around it, and sometimes it does not. This has occurred at multiple points in time.
The hue of blue that is used to create each emblem is the primary distinction between them. In most cases, the letter “N” is colored white, but there have been occasions where it has been colored gold.
Ownership
Born in Rome on May 24, 1949, Aurelio De Laurentiis, better known as ADL, is a notable Italian film producer through his business, Filmauro. He is also the current owner of Italian football clubs Napoli and Bari, both of which he serves as chairman of. At the 19th Moscow International Film Festival, which took place in 1995, he served as a member of the jury.
After Napoli declared bankruptcy in 2004 and were demoted to the third level of Italian Football, De Laurentiis purchased the club with the intention of bringing them back up the divisions while also insuring their financial security. Napoli had earned two promotions in the previous three seasons, putting them back in Serie A. They spent the first few years of their existence in the middle of the table, and in the 2010–11 season, they earned a spot in the UEFA Champions League.
In the 2010s, Napoli was consistently a strong contender in both domestic and European football competitions. ADL has never been able to win the Serie A championship, but they came the closest in the 2017–18 season when they finished second with a club record 91 points, only four points behind the winners, Juventus. Napoli is one of the few clubs in the league that frequently turns a profit, therefore ADL has been lauded for the way he has managed the club, which has led to Napoli being one of the few clubs in the league to garner accolades.
