RKC Waalwijk History
The club was established on August 26, 1940, and it originally called Sportpark Olympia its home field for its games. Its new stadium, the Mandemakers Stadion, which had a capacity of 7,500 seats, was inaugurated in 1996 and hosted its first home match against Roda JC. Prior to the beginning of the 1996-1997 season, the RKC clubname was changed to include the name of the town.
Despite the fact that it is one of the Eredivisie’s smallest clubs, it has managed to keep its position in the top flight for a significant number of years. Yellow and blue are its primary colors at home. After losing to VVV-Venlo in the play-offs at the end of the 2006–2007 season, RKC Waalwijk finished their time in the Eredivisie on the bottom of the standings.
Following their victory in the play-offs against De Graafschap on June 3, 2009, they were elevated to the Eredivisie tier and given promotion. Despite this, though, their spell didn’t hold for very long, and they ended up in last place with only 15 points.
They would go on to win the Eerste Divisie the following season, which would earn them promotion back into the top division of Dutch football. After suffering yet another demotion at the conclusion of the 2013–14 season, RKC Waalwijk concluded the 2014–15 Eerste Divisie season in the twentieth and final position. On the other hand, they did not demote anyone to Topklasse, which is the amateur division, because both of the Topklasse champions turned down promotions to the professional level.
They competed in the playoffs for the Eerste Divisie in the 2016–17 season, but lost to FC Emmen by a score of 5–2 on aggregate. In the Eerste Divisie during the 2017–18 season, RKC finished the year ranked 16th out of a total of 20 clubs. After a hiatus of five years, Waalwijk returned to the Eredivisie in 2019 after claiming victory over Go Ahead Eagles in the play-off finals and earning promotion. RKC came out on top in the second leg, which was played away from home, 4–5, after the first leg at home ended in a 0–0 tie.
RKC finished in last place during the 2019–20 season, however they were spared relegation because the entire season was deemed null and invalid because to the pandemic. The following season, 2020–21, the team finished in 15th place, which was good enough to keep them from being demoted to the lower division.

The Mandemakers Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Waalwijk, Netherlands. At this time, the majority of the events that take place here include football. The stadium was constructed in 1996 and has the capacity to accommodate 7,500 people.
The Manademakers Stadion opened in 1940 and took the place of the Sportpark Olympia stadium, which had a capacity of 6,200 people and had first opened its doors in 1940. The Mandemakers Stadion is a part of a multi-use sports complex known as Sportpark Olympia. The name of this park is “Sportpark Olympia.” Derde Klasse-side VV Baardwijk is one of numerous clubs at the sports park.
